Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of devopsDock services and are designed to comply with EU regulations including GDPR and Consumer Rights Directive.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using devopsDock services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
2. Description of Services
devopsDock provides software development and DevOps services including but not limited to:
- Custom software development
- DevOps consulting and implementation
- Cloud infrastructure management
- Technical support and maintenance
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use services only for lawful purposes
- Not interfere with service operations
- Protect your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Payment Terms
- Fees are billed according to your selected plan
- All prices are exclusive of VAT
- Payment is due upon invoice receipt
- Late payments may result in service suspension
5. Cancellation and Refunds
5.1.1 General
Customers may request a partial refund within seven calendar days of their original purchase by emailing [email protected] with proof of purchase (Name, E-Mail, Purchase date); approved refunds will return 75% of the original purchase price (with the remaining 25% covering administrative and processing fees) to the original payment method within ten business days. We do not provide refunds on already completed work.
5.1.2 Subscription Pause
You may pause your subscription at any time. Unused time remains available for future use during the billing cycle. Subscriptions are based on a 31 day cycle. If you use our service for 10 days and decide to pause you will have 21 days of your subscription left.
5.1.3 Subscription Cancel
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time sending an email to [email protected] and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no further invoices generated. Your access to the service will continue through the end of that billing period. Please note that payments after the 7 days grace period are non-refundable and we do not offer prorated refunds for any unused portion of your subscription term.
5.2 EU Consumer Rights
You are entitled to cancel your purchase and request a refund without stating the reason during the 14 days following the date of your purchase. The refund will cover the relevant subscription fee prorated from the date you request cancellation to the end of the relevant subscription period you have paid for. 5.3 Refund Process
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation approval. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
6. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights are clearly defined:
6.1 Client-Owned IP
You retain ownership of your business logic, data, and proprietary information.
6.2 devopsDock IP
We retain rights to our methodologies, tools, and general knowledge used in service delivery.
6.3 Deliverable Rights
Upon full payment, you receive full rights to custom code and deliverables created specifically for your project.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We expressly exclude liability for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.
- Any further liability is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
- We deliver secure, production ready code, but cannot predict future security vulnerabilities. Should new issues arise, you must open a new issue on your personal ticket board for us to address them, and we will only provide fixes under an active service subscription.
- We will only implement fixes or improvements if you explicitly request them through our support channels.
Unless otherwise agreed in a separate hosting contract, you are solely responsible for hosting and maintaining your application in your chosen environment.
